In 1990, Dr. Robbins donated a portion of his collection related to India to the Smithsonian Institution and in 2022 he and his wife, Joyce Robbins, named The University of Pennsylvania's Penn Libraries as the recipient of the Kenneth and Joyce Robbins Collection of South Asia History in their estate planning.
