Biographical / historical:

Janet Hope Peek was born in 1898 in Elizabeth City, Virginia. She graduated from [then] State Female Normal School in June 1919. After graduation she worked for many years teaching history in the Richmond public school system.

Custodial history:

This collection was donated to the Greenwood Library Archives in 2002 by Paul H. Keene, a relative of Janet Hope Peek.
