The OTF Minutes materials include the agendas, minutes, reports, policies, and correspondence (memorandums and letters) of the OTF. The OTF minutes typically include an agenda, minutes, and relevant OTF Committee reports and correspondence. The Organization of Teaching Faculty (OTF) existed from 1980 - 1989 and consisted of Longwood College faculty. The OTF provided teaching faculty with a major role in planning, recommending, and implementing educational policy of the college. As well as provided a forum for its members to discuss and make recommendations to the appropriate individuals on matters affecting the academic programs at Longwood College. The OTF also discussed and made recommendations to the appropriate individuals on matters relating to their employment and livelihood (OTF Bylaws, adopted April 24, 1984). The OTF met once a month during the academic year. The OTF was preceded by the Faculty Senate.
