Background
- Biographical / historical:
-
Quilters Unlimited (QU) is a nonprofit membership organization of quilters, with all chapters and activities in Northern Virginia. Founded in 1972, it has 11 chapters, unified by a central Board of Directors. Its members include traditionalists and contemporary quilters with a range of expertise. The group and at least some of its chapters compiled annual membership directories. In honor of the organization’s 15th anniversary, its history committee compiled and issued a memorial book, “Quilters Unlimited Highlights of 15 Years (1988).”
