Virginia Henderson was born November 10, 1898. She married Moses Maupin in 1926. They lived on Henry St. in Charlottesville. Virginia Maupin was a member of the Washington Park Garden Club and the Dunbar club, a music appreciation club in Charlottesville. Maupin died on December 14, 1986 and was buried in Mt. Olive Baptist Church cemetery in Albemarle County.
