This is a scrapbook of newspapers clippings collected for the Albemarle County Historical Society, 1967-1974, compiled by Margaret R. Taylor. It includes photographs, articles about local history, and articles about the activities of the Historical Society, including the creating of the museum and library at 220 Court Square.

Biographical / historical:

Margaret Randolph Taylor (1888-1985) was the daughter of Stevens Mason Taylor and Mary Mann Page. She was also the great-great-great granddaughter of Thomas Jefferson. Taylor, along with her sister Olivia, was involved in the Albemarle Charlottesville Historical Society.
