Thérèse Bonney was a photographer who documented the decorative arts in Paris from the Modern Movement through World War II. Most significant to the IAWA are Thérèse Bonney's records of women architects from 1925-1939. Also included in the collection is an email with a summary of where to find original photographic documentation of European women architects who practiced around 1930 compiled by Claire Bonney. The dissertation was presented to the Faculty of Arts for a doctoral degree in Philosophy from the University of Zurich. She was awarded the first Milka Bliznakov Prize in 2000.
