The Georgeta Gabrea Architectural Papers consist of a personal resume, company dossier, photocopies of photographs and documents, and blue drawings of portions of her work. Among the drawings are an office building in Bucharest and an apartment building on 37, Polona Str., Bucharest.
- Biographical / historical:

Georgeta Gabrea was born November 12, 1953 in Bucharest. She studied architecture at "Ion Mincu" Institute of Architecture focusing on the history of Romanian architecture. Gabrea graduated in 1978 and began her practice in "Metroul" Enterprise (1978-1986) where she designed underground subway stations for the new metro in Bucharest and several apartment buildings. Thereafter, she joined "Project Bucuresti" Design Institute (1986-94) where she collaborated with Venera Trisnevschi-Geta for the Bucharest Municipal Library, the "Boema" Musical theatre, and the sports complex at the Country Club. In 1992 Georgeta Gabrea and Venera Trisnevschi-Geta, with several young architects and planners, formed the private company "Capitel" Ltd. offering architectural, urban design, land development, and real-estate services.
