The belt is made of a cream colored fabric with a metal belt buckle and belt hook. Hand written near the buckle and hook is "1952." In the center of the belt is "LAST RAT BELT 52/ALL BAND COMAPNY JUNE '4' 1949." written in pen. There are various other hand written phrases and signatures on belt.

Background

Scope and content:

The belt is made of a cream colored fabric with a metal belt buckle and belt hook. Hand written near the buckle and hook is "1952." In the center of the belt is "LAST RAT BELT 52/ALL BAND COMAPNY JUNE '4' 1949." written in pen. There are various other hand written phrases and signatures on belt. The belt is in fair condition, some discoloration and fraying.

This collection was acquired by the Special Collections and University Archive in February 2013.
