This collection contains a recipe book belonging to M.E. Browning. The book has 61 total recipes, taken from newspapers throughout the 20th century. Many pages have a newspaper clipping, then a handwritten ingredient list. The book includes dessert and bread recipes. The collection has a clipping of Isabelle Browning's obituary, M.E. Browning's mother.
- Biographical / historical:

Margaret E. Browning was born February 7, 1908, in Rhode Island. Her parents were Thomas and Isabelle Browning, and she had three brothers. Margaret was married to Howard D. Browning, who died in 1992. Margaret died January 26, 2009.
