Materials in this collection include several Japanese architectural and artistic publications featuring Matsukawa-Tsuchida's work; her 2017 book about Koto, a special ward in the Tokyo metropolitan area; drawings for two residential projects built in the late 1960s; and an album with photographs of these projects.
- Biographical / historical:

Junko Matsukawa-Tsuchida is an architect and regional planner with degrees from the University of Tokyo and is currently Chair and representative director of the Laboratory for Innovators of Quality of Life. Matsukawa-Tsuchida was born in Osaka but moved to Tokyo with her family at a young age. She now lives in Fuchu, a city in the western part of the Tokyo Metropolitan area.
She has a record of extensive professional service activities, serving as Vice-chair of the Union Internationale des Femmes Architectes (UIFA) Japon. She has also served as Chair of the Women's Architect Committee of the Tokyo Society of Architects and Building Engineers as well as serving as Executive Chair of the Planning Committee for the 1998 UIFA Japon Convention. In addition, she has both published and spoken extensively on the topic of women in architecture.

The Junko Matsukawa-Tsuchida Architectural Collection is arranged into two series: professional papers consisting of publications that feature Matsukawa's work, her own book, and other documentation of her professional life; and project records comprised of original drawings, annotated drawing reproductions, and photographs.
