This collection contains a toy cooking set featured in the 1937 Sears Christmas Wish Book, along with a companion cookbook for young girls. The toys include various pans and cooking utensils, as well as a cookbook titled The Little Cook Book Featuring Little Recipes for Little Girls, written by Leone Ann Heuer, cooking expert for Sears, Roebuck and Co. In the booklet, secrets of success are outlined-"a pinch means as much as you can hold between the tip of your thumb and first finger when pressed tightly together"-followed by ten recipes all proportioned for the small user: bread and rolls, nut bread, baking powder biscuits, orange marmalade biscuits, plain muffins, chocolate feather cake, gold coast cake, sugar cookies, pie crust, and apple pie. Utensils included are 1-cup size revolving flour sifter, graduated measuring cup, wood bread board, 10-inch rolling pin, real egg beater, cookie sheet, 4-cup muffin pan, tube cake, bread and fry pans, pie tin, various round baking pans, a potato masher, and two cookie cutters.
