This collection contains records from the Blacksburg Lions Club, primarily including documents related to their eye-sight charity from 1962 through 1989 in the Blacksburg, Virginia area. Additional items includes a mailing list, list of members, buget information, and a list of club officers.

Biographical / historical:

The Blacksburg Breakfast Lions Club is a service club in Blacksburg, Virginia, founded and chartered in 1973 as part of the International Lions Club. Prior to 1973, the group operated under the name, Blacksburg Lions Club. The organization is heavily involved with many charitable organizations and are most involved with fighting sight-related problems.

Acquisition information:
The Blacksburg Lions Club Records were acquired by Special Collections and University Archives prior to 2012. The songbooks were acquired prior to 2006.
