Scope and content:

This collection contains the papers of Robert F. Graeff a professor of architecture at Virginia Tech. The papers include the Center for Product and Environmental Design (CAUS) publications, photographs, drawings and design materials relating to Graeff's designs for accessible bathrooms for the elderly. Although the majority of the materials are not dated, they are mostly from the 1970s and 1980s.

Biographical / historical:

Robert F. Graeff was a professor of architecture in the College of Architecture and Urban Studies at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University from 1978 to 1999.

Acquisition information:
The Robert F. Graeff Papers were donated to Special Collections in 2014 after being received by the Art and Architecture Library.
