The collection includes receipts and more than 100 pieces of incoming and outgoing correspondence relating to M. L. Foley's business selling birds out of Salem, Virginia. Foley's letters concern the breeding, sale, and shipment of birds throughout the U.S., as well as Central and South America. The collection also contains receipts for birds, freight, feed, licenses, and more.
