Scope and content:

This collection consists of a single daybook maintained by a general mercantile store in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Entries, commencing ca. July 1823, document sales of textiles, dry goods, tobacco, household goods, and tools. The daybook entries end ca. September 10, 1825.

Acquisition information:
The collection was purchased by Special Collections and University Archives in 1988.
Processing information:

The processing and description of the Harrisburg, Pennsylvania Daybook commenced and was completed in December 2021.
