This collection consists of an inventory of the estate of William Deal, of Patrick County, Virginia. Completed in September, 1808, te inventory is signed by David Taylor, John W. James, and John James. The inventory lists the values of various household goods, including furniture, bedding, and cookware; and farming equipment, including tools and horse tack.

William Deal, a resident of Patrick County, Virginia died in 1808. He may be the same William Deal who married Lucy Spencer in Patrick County in 1800.
