Also includes correspondence, 1922-1923 and 1951-1952, of W. I Stockdon (1891-1968) and Bryan Stockdon (1924-2010) of Richmond, Virginia.

R. S. Bristow and Son was established in Urbanna, Virginia, 1876, by Robert S. Bristow as R. S. Bristow. The store was operated as R. S. Bristow and Son during the 1920s and 1930s. The store is still open in Urbanna as R. S. Bristow.
