Scope and content:

Minutes and related attachments documenting the meetings, activities, discussions, policy decisions, and recommendations of the Virginia Board for Waste Management Facility Operators. Includes official board minutes, as well as draft minutes, committee meeting minutes, agendas and other meeting materials. May also include informal fact finding hearing minutes, correspondence, legislation, regulations and reports. The Library of Virginia does not have Board for Waste Management Facility Operators, 1985-1991.

Electronic records often contain board meeting packets with various attachments and draft minutes, while paper records often include minutes only. There may be some duplication between paper and electronic records. For transfers prior to 2012, records of individual boards were accessioned separately. After this, transfers of records (records starting in 2008) included all boards, which were accessioned under one accession number. Biographical / historical:

The Board for Waste Management Facility Operators promulgates regulations, establishes standards for training and certification, approves training providers, and licenses qualified individuals who manage waste facilities in the Commonwealth. The board may establish classes for the purpose of training and certification based upon the type of waste management facility for which a waste management facility operator seeks certification.
