Background
- Scope and content:
-
Minutes and related attachments documenting the meetings, activities, discussions, policy decisions, and recommendations of the Virginia Board for Hearing Aid Specialists. Includes official board minutes, as well committee meeting minutes, agendas and other meeting materials. Board meeting packets include agendas, draft minutes from the previous meeting and related attachments such as agreements, compliance and investigation activity reports, correspondence, financial statements, legislation, presentations, public hearing records and comments, regulations, reports and statistical reports.
Electronic records often contain board meeting packets with various attachments and draft minutes, while paper records often include minutes only. There may be some duplication between paper and electronic records. For transfers prior to 2012, records of individual boards were accessioned separately. After this, transfers of records (records starting in 2008) included all boards, which were accessioned under one accession number. There is a separate finding aid for the later transfers (link to finding aid below).
