Records, 1983-2013, of the Virginia Wine Board. Primarily contains publications and promotional material, including for the Virginia Wine Festival, the Governor's Cup, Virginia Wine Month, the Vinters Barrel Tasting Program, the Virginia Wine Gala, and the Capitol Wine Tasting Program. There are also publications, such as Virginia Wine Country brochure, The Virginia Vintage, the Virginia Wineries Association newsletter, the Virginia Wineries Passport, and the Virginia Wine Country poster, among others. Finally, there are newspaper clippings relating to the wine industry from various newspapers.

The Virginia Wine Board was created in 2004 as a replacement for the Virginia Winegrower's Advisory Board. The Board is established within the Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services and its is to allocate funds to projects that expand viticultural and enological research, education, and promotion of the growing of grapes and the production of wine in the Commonwealth. According to the Code, not less than one third of the monies appropriated shall be spent on projects that advance viticultural and enological research concerning the growing of grapes and the production of wine in Virginia.
