Biographical / historical:

In 1909 S. C. Daniel was appointed trustee to oversee the assets of the Charlotte Banking and Insurance Company. After the bank became insolvent, Daniel was unwilling to assume the responsibility of administering the said trust without protection from the Charlotte County Circuit Court.

Charlotte Banking and Insurance Company Business Records were used as evidence in the chancery case, S. C. Daniel, trustee versus Charlotte Banking and Insurance Company, heard in the Circuit Court of Charlotte County.
