Cox, 1851 Jan. 8; between Joseph Woodson and George Woodson, 1835 Aug. 28; between Robert Morris and Nicholas Poindexter, 1830 Mar. 12; between Powhatan Bolling and John S. Fleming, 1827 Aug. 11; between William Barnett and Mary Vaughan, 1802 Dec. 3; between Thomas Pleasants and Mary Henry Pleasants, 1795 Mar. 10; and between William Royster and Prudence his wife and Samuel Parsons 1785 Mar. 21.

Biographical / historical:

Goochland County was named for Sir William Gooch, lieutenant governor of Virginia from 1727 to 1749. It was formed from Henrico County in 1728.

The Robert Alonzo Brock Collection was filmed by The Huntington Library in cooperation with The Library of Virginia with funding provided by The Library of Virginia Foundation with the support of The Roller-Bottimore Foundation and The Robins Foundation. Microfilm received 15 April 2004.
