Records, 1820-1837, of Rockbridge County Circuit Court consist of Commonwealth claims of various county officials and witnesses in court cases.

Biographical / historical:

Rockbridge County was formed from Augusta and Botetourt Counties in 1778. Additional part of Botetourt County was added in 1785.

Acquisition information:
The Robert Alonzo Brock Collection was filmed by The Huntington Library in cooperation with The Library of Virginia with funding provided by The Library of Virginia Foundation with the support of The Roller- Bottimore Foundation and The Robins Foundation. Microfilm received 15 April 2004.
