Records, 1816-1827, of Princess Anne County County Court consist of Commonwealth claims of various county officials (1819-1827) and certificates related to granting letters of administration to various estates (1822, 1824.)

Biographical / historical:

Princess Anne County was formed from Lower Norfolk County in 1691. Now extinct, it was incorporated into the city of Virginia Beach in 1963.

Acquisition information:
The Robert Alonzo Brock Collection was filmed by The Huntington Library in cooperation with The Library of Virginia with funding provided by The Library of Virginia Foundation with the support of The Roller- Bottimore Foundation and The Robins Foundation. Microfilm received 15 April 2004.
