Scope and content:

Records, 1831-1871, of Orange County Circuit Court consist of the appraisement of the personal property of Michael Anderson (n.d.), certificate acknowledging Peter C. Johnson and William P. Cave as executors of Richard Cave's executors (1871), summons in the chancery suit Executors of Robert King versus Wesley King and others (1869), and a copy of record in the criminal case the Commonwealth of Virginia versus Johnson Mitchell (1831.)

Orange County was formed in 1734 from Spotsylvania County.
