A bill of complaint filed by William Hunt of Lancaster County, Virginia, filing suit in a court of chancery of Richmond County against Ezekiel Levy (d. 1812), George Davis (d. 1826), Dennis McCarty (d. ca. 1803), Henry Dobyns, and Kister Toon [Tune] (d. ca. 1803). Hunt is suing over part of the estate of his grandfather, specifically the "increase" of two slave women. The bill of complaint includes genealogical information on the Barber family, the Hunt family, and the McCarty family. It also contains genealogical information on the children of two slave women, Jean and Betty.
