Maryat Lee (1923-1989) was an American playwright and theater director who made important contributions to post-World War II avant-garde theater. She pioneered street theater in Harlem and later founded EcoTheater in West Virginia, a community-based theater project. Materials include reports, newsletters, correspondence, newspaper clippings, photographs, cassette tapes, VHS tapes, posters, manuscripts, notes, scripts, screenplays, published plays, genealogical research, journals, drawings, and paintings. Also present is a piece of stained glass created by Lee, a dress worn by Lee, and an EcoTheater T-Shirt.

R.R. itself, series XI-XXXI describe the records of R.F.& P. subsidiaries, both fully or partially owned, and of companies, of which the R.F.& P. owned a smaller interest at some point during its 157 year history, or with which it was otherwise affiliated. The VCU Libraries Richmond Subject Files, 1970-2010 consist of approximately 140 files of printed material and ephemera produced by businesses, organizations, and people in Richmond, Virginia. Materials in the files were collected and organized by Special Collections and Archives staff over the course of four decades to document the history and cultural life of the city. The collection contains newspaper and magazine clippings in addition to promotional materials such as advertising fliers, brochures, and mailers for businesses, organizations, and events. A significant portion of the collection consists of VCU undergraduate student papers from the early 1990s on the architectural history of buildings and residences surrounding the university.

1000 Yugoslavian Dinara, 1981 Artifact box 134 (Temporary #)

2- 1000 Yugoslavian Dinars. The dinars are gray and the front features a woman with fruit and fields and farming equipment int he background. The number "1000" is also featured on the front right side of the bill. It also appears in the center on the back of the bill within a circle with people-figures holding hands. According to the U.S. Department of the Treasury Treasury Reporting Rates as of March 31, 1981, 1 Yugoslavian Dinar was equal to $20.60. The bank notes belonged to Armand J. Galfo,U.S. Air Force Reserves officer and Assistant Dean of the School of Education at the College of William and Mary between 1965 and 1966. The bank notes measures approximately 6.5in (length) x 3in. (width) and are in good condition. Both bank notes have creases in the middle where they have been folded. There is also blue ink bleeding on the back of Dinar a and on the front and back of Dinar b. Located in University Archives Artifact Collection (UA 13), UA Paper/Print. UA 2007.063.11a-b

100 Yugoslavian Dinara, 1981 Artifact box 134 (Temporary #)

2-100 Yugoslavian Dinara. The bills are red and features a depiction of "Horsewoman" or the Monument of Peace that stands in front of the main building of the United Nations building in New York City. "Horsewoman" was created by Yugoslavian sculpter Antun Augustincic. The number "100" is also featured on the front of the bills to the right in red print. It is also featured on the back of the bills in the center within a circle with people-figures holding hands. According to the U.S. Department of the Treasury Treasury Reporting Rates as of March 31, 1981, 1 Yugoslavian Dinar was equal to $20.60. The bank notes belonged to Armand J. Galfo, U.S. Air Force Reserves officer and Assistant Dean of the School of Education at the College of William and Mary between 1965 and 1966. The bills are made of cotton paper and measure aproximately 5.75in. (length) x 2.75 (width). The bills are in poor condition. Both are crinkled, have dirt stains, and their edges have various rips tears and bends. There is a worn crease in the center of bill a. That bill aslo has its top left and bottom right corners bent. 1908 Fifty Cent Piece, 1908

1-copper fifty cent piece the front of which features Liberty's head in the center. "IN GOD WE TRUST" is inscribed in raised letters above Liberty's head 1908" is inscribed in raised numbers below her head. There are six stars on the left side of the front of the coin and seven on the right side of the front, making a total of thirteen. On the back of the coin the eagle of the Great Seal of the United States is depicted. There are thirteen stars above his head. "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" is inscribed in an arch at the top of the back of the coin. "HALF DOLLAR" is inscribed on the bottom of the back of the coin. The coin was given to Armand Galfo for a speech at the PTA at the dedication of new jr.-sr. High School at Woodlawn Beach, 4th grade 1935. The coin measures approximately 1.125in. and is in fair condition. many of the the letters, numbers and images are worn smooth and there is discoloration all around the coin.
