The collection contains architectural drawings, specifications, construction files, and photographs relating to projects undertaken by Marie-Louise Laleyan (1977-2007) and Laleyan Architects (1972-1977). Photographic record of her U.S. employment (1965-1972) is also present.

This collection is composed entirely of scripts from Bill Lawrence. It includes approximately 90 scripts, including one from a 1996 episode of the television series "Spin City," and the rest from the television series "Scrubs" from the period 2001-2008. Many of the scripts are broadcast drafts, but the later ones become mostly shooting drafts. The scripts are ordered by the script number and not necessarily by date broadcast. Many of the scripts are signed by Bill Lawrence.

The M(anley)Caldwell Butler Papers consist of approximately 96 cu. ft. of materials from 1925-2006. Most of the papers cover the periods 1972-1982 and 1995-1997. The papers are divided into seventeen series: June Nolde Butler papers; correspondence and subject files; military service; appointment calendars; campaigns; scrapbooks, clippings and photos; speeches; newsletters, press releases, radio reports and weekly reports; voting record; constituency correspondence; confirmation of Gerald R. Ford as Vice President; impeachment of President Richard M. Nixon; Bankruptcy Reform Act of 1978; Legal Services Corporation; re-authorization of the Department of Justice for the Fiscal Year 1982; Voting Rights Act extension; the National Bankruptcy Review Commission, 1995-1997; and Artifacts, 1944-1998. With the exceptions of the first six series and National Bankruptcy Review Commission materials, these papers were generated during Butler's terms as U. S. Representative for the 6th Congressional District of Virginia, 1972 -1982 (93rd Congress - 97th Congress).

The Records of the Virginia Secretary of Education are housed in fifty three (53 boxes). The collection is arranged into eight (8) series. Series have been designated for: I. Correspondence and Supporting Documentation, Assigned State Agencies, 2002-2010; II. Constituent Correspondence, 2006-2010; III. Office of the Secretary, 2001-2009 (bulk 2006-2009); IV. Weekly Report Files, 2006-2009; V. Decision Briefs: Supporting Documentation, 2008-2010; VI. Public Relations, 2006-2009; VII. Legislative Files, 2007; and VIII. Special Projects and Governor's Initiatives, 2002-2010. These records include agendas, articles, briefings, correspondence, e-mails, grants, handouts, legislation, lists, memorandums, minutes, notes, presentations, press releases, reports, speeches, studies, surveys and files by subject. These records document the work of the Secretary of Education under Governor Tim Kaine. The most significant and voluminous material documents the development and implementation of the various educational initiatives of the Kaine Administration including: P-16 Council, Start Strong Council, Smart Beginnings, High School Reform (NGA Honors States Grant and Commonwealth Scholars), and Teacher Quality.

The Isaiah Conley Civil War Correspondence and Research Materials includes two series of primary and secondary sources. Series I: Letters, Transcripts, and Narratives, includes 98 letters written by Isaiah Conley to his wife during his service in the 101st Pennsylvania Regiment between 1861 and 1865. This series also has unpublished and published versions of Conley's escape from Confederate captivity. Series II: Research Materials contains correspondence, photocopies, articles, maps, and research files for a history of the 101st Regiment, Pennsylvania Infantry that was planned, but never completed, by a previous owner. This series dates from 1980s through the early 2000s.
