Her diaries offer a snapshot of daily life for a small town West Virginia high school girl; she recorded social and personal activities, including dates, going to the movies (at a "nickelodeon"), and being sick with the mumps. She was vice president of the class of 1917 at Davis High School. Davis was a major lumber town at the time. Also includes biographical information about Louise and family (undated).
