Acc. 1981.115: Christmas Activities, 1935-1941. This accession documents the celebration of the Yule Log Ceremony and the President's Christmas Party. Materials include Dean Landrum's correspondence and memos, committee reports, stage instructions, programs, invitations, and newspaper clippings. This material is arranged chronologically.

This collection contains correspondence, news clippings, photographs, and programs from Gladys Monroe's years as a student at the College of William and Mary. Included in the collection is a speech given by Monroe about Grace Warren Landrum, former Dean of Women, at the dedication of Landrum Hall in 1959; programs from the William and Mary Dramatic Club from 1931 to 1933; photographs of Monroe, including a few with fellow theatre student Howard Scammon; news clippings about Ms. Monroe; and a Pi Beta Phi sorority bulletin from 1929.

This collection contains biographical materials, correspondence, notebooks, scrapbooks, and other material related to former College of William and Mary Dean of Women Grace Warren Landrum from 1890-1995. Also included in the collection are dance and banquet programs; information about the dedication of Landrum Hall; and programs, news clippings, and photographs relating to the Matthew Whaley School from 1931-1932.

This collection includes biographical materials and photocopies of correspondence, manuscripts, and the inventory of Hugh Jones' estate. The collection also contains material written about Hugh Jones, including correspondence and a copy of Grace Warren Landrum's 1943 article "Which Hugh Jones?"

As Director of Public Relations, Pinckney worked in a two-person office with office assistant Emily Sneed and includes much about campus experience from 1938-1942. The office did not cover sports publicity, which was handled by the Athletics Department. Pinckney and Sneed also oversaw the Wren Building Guides, a group of male students who interpreted and gave tours of the Wren Building. Pinckney's records include correspondence with Deans Grace Landrum, J. Wilfred Lambert, and James W. Miller; the Colonial Williamsburg Restoration; and professors Althea Hunt and Martha Barksdale. Topics include admissions, alumni, guidebooks, honorary degrees, public inquiries, final exercises, reinternment of Thomas Roderick Dew, and World War II's impact on William & Mary's campus.
