The records consist of rosters, D.A.R. magazines, contitutions and by–laws, minutes and membership ledgers, yearbooks, scrapbooks, news bulletins, obituaries of members, and the original charter of the Alleghany Chapter.

Documents include but are not limited to correspondence, administrative records, planning and event materials, newspaper clippings, and photographs. The materials also include CD-ROM discs, VHS tapes, and cassette tapes containing photographs, email correspondence, audio and video recordings of events and lectures, event and planning materials, and other professional documentation related to the ASPN. In addition, the accession contains professional papers of individuals affiliated with the ASPN: Jose Strauss, Adrian Spitzer, William Segar, Chester Edelmann, Billy Arant, and F. Bruder Stapleton. Professional papers include but are not limited to publications, correspondence, photographs, article drafts, and research outlines.
