The Daughters of the American Revolution (D.A.R.) was formed in 1890 as an organization to perpetuate the memory and spirit of the men and women who achieved American Indepedence, to encourage historical research in relation to the Revolution, and to promote the celebration of all patriotic anniversaries. The records consist of rosters, D.A.R. magazines, contitutions and by–laws, minutes and membership ledgers, yearbooks, scrapbooks, news bulletins, obituaries of members, and the original charter of the Alleghany Chapter.

This collection consists of materials that chronicle the business dealings of the American Society of Pediatric Nephrology (ASPN) as well as the professional work of some of its members from ca. 1955-2022. Documents include but are not limited to correspondence, administrative records, planning and event materials, newspaper clippings, and photographs. The materials also include CD-ROM discs, VHS tapes, and cassette tapes containing photographs, email correspondence, audio and video recordings of events and lectures, event and planning materials, and other professional documentation related to the ASPN. In addition, the accession contains professional papers of individuals affiliated with the ASPN: Jose Strauss, Adrian Spitzer, William Segar, Chester Edelmann, Billy Arant, and F. Bruder Stapleton. Professional papers include but are not limited to publications, correspondence, photographs, article drafts, and research outlines.

Records of the Appalachian Prison Book Project (APBP), a non-profit organization that supports and furthers educational justice throughout the Appalachian region by providing books and educational opportunities to incarcerated people, among other initiatives. These records include primarily correspondence from people in prison requesting specific books, as well as notebooks logging volunteer hours and books sent and other materials (Box 46), and incarcerated pen pal letters (Box 49).

The Artemis Sisters Collective was a local Morgantown, West Virginia feminist collective formed in September 1982 for the purpose of promoting women's empowerment through creative, political, and social engagement. The bulk of materials range in dates from 1980 to 1987 and include information regarding the SisterSpace Collective, various women's defense committees, musical acts, and social activism. Materials include posters, pamphlets, correspondence, cassette tapes, meeting minutes, flyers, press releases, photographs and t-shirts.
