Wright organized his own historical timeline titled "Good Clean Fun: Blacks in Comics," also referred to as "Clean Fun: Blacks in Comics," in a series of binders with artist biographies and time period summaries. Item titles have been retained from the original labels.

Established by American Studies Ph.D. Kevin Kosanovich working in Swem Library's Special Collections, the William & Mary Hip Hop Collection is the most comprehensive of its kind dedicated to Virginia's hip hop culture and history from the 1980s to the present. The collection includes oral histories committed to preserving and documenting Virginia's rich hip hop past, as well as recordings of hip hop music, publications, and ephemera created by Virginia and Virginia-based artists, collectives, and businesses. Additionally, the collection documents the origins and impact of hip hop culture on college campuses throughout the state by collecting records of hip hop based student organizations, college radio stations, events and concerts with a special focus on William & Mary itself.

This collection of Gayle Schulman research files is about one hundred items, one document box, .04 cubic feet, and relates to African-American physicians born in 1900 in Charlottesville, Virginia. Physicians included in the research are James Franklin Allen, George Geiger Anderson, Edward Albert Carter, Eugene Dickerson, William Peter Dickerson, Samuel Cornelius Donaldson, Thomas M. Ferguson, Henry Floyd Gamble, Thomas Southall Hawkins, Sarah Garland Boyd Jones, John Andrew Kenney, and Peter Willis Price. There is also a research file on slaves at the University of Virginia which was prepared for a presentation to the African-American Genealogy Group in 2003.

This collection contains an estimated nine hundred thousand printed photographs, negatives, and slides captured by professional photographers at Gitchell's Studio in Charlottesville between 1972 and 2016. The collection provides provides a photographic history of the Charlottesville, Virginia including the University of Virginia and includes printed photographs, negatives, slides, and photographs saved on CD-Rs and DVD-Rs. The collection is organized by year and event. Most of the content is commissioned photographs paid for by Charlottesville and Albemarle County residents or businesses. The subject matter of the photographs spans wedding portraits, personal portraits, family portraits, corporate events, commercial scenes, sporting events and graduations for the University of Virginia and area high schools, church events, University of Virginia sports, and the Dogwood Festival. This guide only describes accession 2017-0077 (addition 1) of the collection and does not include a description of the original deposit.
