Aerial photographs, 1930-2015, document road projects and corridor studies throughout the Commonwealth and include photographic prints, as well as aerial photo indexes, index maps, mosaic indexes, oblique indexes, overlay books, overlay books, topographic maps and vertical indexes.

Records, 1859-1861, of the Auditor of Public Accounts Harpers Ferry Fund, arranged chronologically into five boxes. The collection mainly consists of accounts and receipts, but also interfiled is correspondence, payrolls, special requisitions, and warrants. The records document the expenses incurred by the militia, individuals, and businesses during John Brown's Raid and detail the Auditor of Public Accounts reimbursements. For an unknown reason some of the records have warrant numbers, while the earlier records do not (1859 October - 1860 February).

Minutes include lists of funded projects by locality that identify the type of project and amount awarded. Types of projects may include equipment, item conservation, preservation, processing, security systems and storage.

Commemorative Commission records, 2007-2020, document the meetings, activities, discussions, decisions, and recommendations of the Virginia Commission on the Bicentennial of the War of 1812, the Virginia Sesquicentennial of the American Civil War Commission, and the Virginia WWI and WWII Commemoration Commission. Many of the records pertain to planning for commemorative events.

Includes correspondence and subject files documenting actions, planning, functions, implementation of agency programs, and the establishment of policies and procedures for the agency, as well as achievements of the Dept. of Conservation and Recreation and its predecessor agencies. Contains correspondence, news clippings, programs, financial records, memoranda, news releases, newsletters, agendas, minutes, legislative files, reference files, reports, and environmental impact statements.

Contains correspondence and subject files of the Director of the Virginia Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation that document the planning, direction, and implementation of agency and board programs and are evidence of actions and policy decisions. Includes correspondence with the agency boards, Secretary of Economic Development/Commerce and Trade, and the Governor’s Office. Also may include newsletters, weekly reports, strategic planning reports, agency study reports, and financial reports.

Correspondence and subject files, 2006-2014, of Virginia Auditor of Public Accounts Walter Kucharski. These records are in electronic format and consist of the official correspondence of the Auditor with state agencies, localities, legislators, governor's office and constituents. The majority of this collection consists of correspondence, but also includes accounting spreadsheets, briefings, financial documentation, guidance, legislative review, memoranda, presentations, proposals, studies, reports and documentation on analysis, calculations, clarifications, and projections.

The Correspondence and Supporting Documentation of Governor McDonnell's Executive office are house in 3 boxes. The bulk of the collection consists of printed emails and supporting documentation of said internal email communications. These records concern various events and activities of the Governor and his office during his administration including. All three series include correspondence, both internally between the governor and staff, and externally with constituents, politicians and stake holders.
