Collection includes dance cards for various dances, including ring dances and dances sponsored by the German Club, Cotillion Club, and sectional clubs.

The Virginia Reelers Square Dance Club records (1953-2008; 3 cubic feet) document the history and operation of the Reelers. Club records include correspondence, meeting minutes, event advertisements, and membership lists. Other collection materials include two financial ledgers tracking member dues and pages from six photograph albums documenting various dances and spring festivals.

This collection contains 268 letters Virginia Scott Cocke wrote to David Russell Lyman, whom she would marry in 1905. The letters date from 1898 to 1905 and document their courtship. Also included are photographs, a postcard, a bookplate, an album, marriage certificates, transcripts of the letter, and a thumb drive.

The Virginia Sexual and Domestic Violence Alliance records primarily consist of materials generated and collected by its predecessor organization, VADV. These records document the VADV's and VSDVAA's day-to-day operations, public programs, and advocacy activities, and research on the issues of domestic and sexual violence and related topics.

Contains posters, slides and other materials related to the Virginia Shakespeare Festival.
