Includes records generated by West Virginia University's College of Physical Education and Sport Sciences (CPASS), which is now known as the College of Applied Human Sciences, School of Sport Sciences. The collection reflects everyday internal operations, staff and leadership activities, administrative plans and reports, outreach and community events, the CPASS Hall of Fame and other college events/awards, the development of campus facilities used by CPASS and WVU Athletics, and other subjects. This collection documents the planning, construction, and groundbreaking of the former Business and Economics Building at West Virginia University. Materials date from 1988–1991 and include records related to design, event planning, and photographs documenting constuction. Groundbreaking happened in 1989, and the building served as the home of the College of Business and Economics (later named the John Chambers College of Business and Economics), until the college relocated to Reynolds Hall in 2021. Includes event planning materials, slides, photographs, newspapers, and architectural drawings. All photos are labeled with project, owner, architect, contractor, date, and photo descriptions. Two small boxes of film slides. Two newspapers, The Daily Athenaeum and The Charleston Gazette, both dated 1989, highlight the groundbreaking. Individuals prominently featured include Cyril M. Logar, Interim Dean of the College of Business and Economics.

This collection is comprised of photograph slides created within the West Virginia University Davis College of Agriculture and Natural Resources Landscape Architecture department and used most recently by a WVU Landscape Architecture professor, Peter Butler. The slides primarily feature historic sites, residential areas, cultural landscapes, and natural scenery within West Virginia. They also include photographs used for mining surveys, documentation of WVU campus events, and images from WVU Landscape Architecture classes and field trips. The photos represent Morgantown, Fairmont, Logan County, and Kanawha County; a few international sites, like Greece and Egypt (spread throughout the collection); and additional unspecified locations. A box-level contents list, including a rough approximation of photograph locations and topics, is available upon request by contacting the West Virginia & Regional History Center reference department.

This collection contains records from the Dean's Office of the West Virginia University's Davis College of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Design, ranging from the late-1940s to the mid-2000s.

Slides from the old Agricultural Science Building. Some of the presentations came from the Dorsey Resource Center, built at the Jackson's Mill Extension in 1978. Slides include informational presentations about various topics, primarily either educational materials or College programming. Educational materials are primarily presentations on the proper use and maintenance of various equipment, agricultural techniques, and laws/protocols. Slides on College programming and groups are largely unidentified, but include Programming in the Village of P, and the FFA (Future Farmers of America). There may also be some materials from the home economics program, such as a presentation titled "Home Safety: Home Design and Decoration." Slide presentations 6, 9, 12, 16, 17, 23, and 24 have an accompanying cassette, presentations 6, 12, 14, 16, 17, 25, 26, and 32 have papers (primarily scripts, but some include other informational materials), and presentation 25 has a film.
