2- 1000 Yugoslavian Dinars. The dinars are gray and the front features a woman with fruit and fields and farming equipment int he background. The number "1000" is also featured on the front right side of the bill. It also appears in the center on the back of the bill within a circle with people-figures holding hands. According to the U.S. Department of the Treasury Treasury Reporting Rates as of March 31, 1981, 1 Yugoslavian Dinar was equal to $20.60. The bank notes belonged to Armand J. Galfo,U.S. Air Force Reserves officer and Assistant Dean of the School of Education at the College of William and Mary between 1965 and 1966. The bank notes measures approximately 6.5in (length) x 3in. (width) and are in good condition. Both bank notes have creases in the middle where they have been folded. There is also blue ink bleeding on the back of Dinar a and on the front and back of Dinar b. Located in University Archives Artifact Collection (UA 13), UA Paper/Print. UA 2007.063.11a-b
