Series 1: Administrative Files, 1958-1982, consists of material relating to the history and everyday operation of the Campus School, including accreditation records (1978-1982), insurance information (1978-1981), and general PTA paperwork (1962-1974). Of special note is a Virginia Congress of Parents and Teachers year book from the 1971-1972 school year (does not include student information or photos), a 1981-1982 handbook, graduation programs from 1975-1982, a school history compiled by the last graduating sixth grade class in 1982, and a copy of the 1980 study commissioned by Dr. Carrier, which includes breakdowns of the student body by race and gender. Three folders contain PTA minutes ranging from 1958-1979, along with a few loose materials concerning the school's opening and closing.

Administrative Files, ca. 1830-2002, is comprised of documents which record the information used to manage the cemetery. As such, it contains reports and minutes compiled by the cemetery's various treasurers and presidents over the years, information relating to board meetings, insurance policy papers, and other similar documents created in the course of running the business.

Series 1: Administrative Files, 1961-2005, comprises the VWC's organizational records including by-laws, correspondence, personnel files and files maintained by VWC members, membership lists, meeting agendas and minutes, brochures, newsletters, financial documents and reports, and account ledgers. Of interest is the correspondence with Congressmen Rick Boucher, John Warner, and George Allen.

Series 1: Administrative Files, 1934-2015, is primarily made up of files used for the logistical planning of reunions and files created for reunion attendees. These files include photographs, reunion booklets, active class member lists, sign-up sheets, alumni correspondence, and newsletters. These files remain largely in their original order, organized by the graduating classes. Nearly every class file includes reunion booklets for reunions between 1970 and 2005. Most class files include group photographs of alumni during reunions, as well as candid shots of reunion festivities.

This series documents the wide-ranging administrative functions of the university's communications, marketing, and branding departments. Materials relate to major initiatives including Madison Century, the university's centennial anniversary (including historical information to support this initiative), Greater Madison, Montpelier/Madison Magazine and its redesign, academic restructuring during the 1990s, crisis communication, and more. In addition to JMU marketing campaigns, records also document messaging and response strategies to situations and events involving to the JMU community.

Items in this series consist of ledgers and notebooks that document the administrative functions of the church and span from the earliest written records in 1844 to 1979. The earliest record book, Church Record Book 1, contains documentation of the first organization of the church in August of 1844, and lists the original members separately as male, female, and colored members. Church Record Book 2 contains the copied text of the original deed of Bethlehem Church from September 1844. Materials within this series contain information related to church business including membership lists, records of deaths, names of elected officials, financial records, and meeting minutes. Financial records in this series include accounts of payments made to the pastor's salary and records for various collections taken within the church. Most items have labels taped to the cover of the ledger or notebook that indicate dates and contents. It is unknown when these notes were written, or by whom.
