The Withers A. Burress papers consist of papers that document Burress' United States Army career for the period from 1942 to 1954. Included are photos, a subject file on the 100th Infantry Division, scrapbooks, correspondence, orders, and memos. Other items include retirement correspondence (dated 1957-1971).

Records of the Washington and Lee University radio station, WLUR 91.5, from its creation in 1967-68 to present. This record group is composed primarily of recordings from the radio station. Included among the tapes are earlier recordings from the Washington and Lee Journalism Dept. predating the founding of the radio station. The station was originally created as an arm of the Journalism Dept. It is now a branch of the Communications and Public Affairs Office.

This collection documents activities and events at the College of William and Mary during the career of W. Melville Jones. It is primarily composed of material collected in scrapbooks.

Minutes, financial ledgers, correspondence, printed material, and religious ephemera, 1882-1960, relating to a chapter of the Woman's Christian Temperance Union in Ft. Smith, Arkansas, from the home of Grace Shipley Collins.

The collection contains scrapbooks, yearbooks, photographs, minutes and correspondence showing the activities, projects, causes and meetings of the Woman's Club of Williamsburg. The Woman's Club was founded to mostly help local schools.

This collection contains items that came from the Womeldorf family farm in Lexington, Va. Included are photographs of family members and the farm, postcards, Cora Bell Womeldorf's obituary, and letters received from missionaries to China in 1938. The letters describe their work and the conditions of the people they encounter including various illnesses.

This collection consists of three minute books of the Women's Athletic Association at the College of William and Mary covering 1923-1937, 1937-1958, and 1960-1962. The books also contain several constitutions.

The collection is composed of programs, media guides, schedules, rosters, posters, ephemera and other material related to the women's basketball team at William & Mary. The bulk of the material pertains to the years after 1991 and consists mainly of programs and media guides which are arranged chronologically.
