Records of the WVU. College of Creative Arts. Publicity Office. Includes clippings (Music Dept., 1953-54; CAC, 1964-69); newsletters (Music Dept., 1950-66; CAC, 1982-83, 1992-95); and news releases (CAC, 1969-77, 1986-95). There are scrapbooks for the Women's Music Club (1 volume, 1904-1919), Music Dept. (1 volume, 1951-59), and CAC events (9 volumes, 1966-92). A photo album contains photographs of the construction of Eisland Hall (ca.1953-54). There are also slides, photographs, and other records documenting the construction and dedication of the CAC facility (ca.1966-68). A slide show with accompanying audio cassette that profiles the facilities and programs of the CAC (ca.1976-79). The inception of WVU's "School of Music" is documented by an original announcement outlining staff and course of instruction for the 1897-98 academic year. There is also an addendum of 2004/09/16 (1 record carton, 17 in.) that includes CAC dedication program (1969), newsletters (1982-1998), and news releases (1989-1991).

Fourteen reels of microfilm contain West Virginia University College of Engineering cards from 1895 to 1929. One reel consists of bills and invoices from 1898 to 1916 and laboratory cards from 1902 to 1916. Invoice cards identify the course, items purchased, such as saws, mufflers, bulbs, and clamps, and cost of each item. Lab cards indicate the student name, the lab experiment, and the grade for the work. The other reels contain student cards from 1895 to 1929. Cards provide information about attendance and grades. They are arranged alphabetically by the last name of the student.
