The collection contains scrapbooks, yearbooks, photographs, minutes and correspondence showing the activities, projects, causes and meetings of the Woman's Club of Williamsburg. The Woman's Club was founded to mostly help local schools.

Assorted but unrelated materials from before, during and immediately after World War I, including a photograph of a young man in military uniform, labeled "Richard Flack"; an envelope addressed to Carlotta Howard; an invoice for stamps bought at the United States Military Academy; and a "Food Conservation Notes" newspaper.

Collection of 21 glass slides depicting various scenes from the First World War in France. Images include fox holes, fortification, soldiers in and around camp, and snow scenes. Letters from Robert F. Fiske, a Lieutenant in the U.S. Navy Reserve during World War II, possibly stationed or serving in Washington, D.C., Norfolk, Virginia and Bermuda, to his wife, Deborah Fiske. His wife appears to live in Brookline, then Boston, Massachusetts. He is an educated man who writes with a casual style. Five letters, 1 note, empty envelopes.Three unrelated items were included with this accession:Two items from World War II - description of Shaef War Room at Reims, France and Holiday programs at Toul, France.One group from World War I - an appeal for aid by Lieutenant de Dorlodot, with a copy of a letter from Baron de Broqueville, Belgian Prime Minister and Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs.

One postcard depicting an American soldier towing a pretzel, a beer stein, sausages, and a dachshund. The caption says "I'll bring you back some souvenirs." The postcard was not sent but does bear the name "Harry Lydie" in pencil on the reverse.
