The collection consists of correspondence, day books, blueprints, photographs, genealogical research, maps, DVDs, artwork, textiles, and artifacts, circa 1760-1990, relating to the Tucker family of Bermuda and the Taliaferro-Bolton families of Richmond, Virginia.

Account book, 1808-1839, kept by Calvin Hobart, a cabinet maker, grain mill builder, and craftsman. Hobart moved from Vermont to Ohio in 1821, and then on to Schuyler County, Illinois in 1822. Listed in the account book are transactions recording payment for tables, chair frames, cradles, agricultural produce, horse pasturage, and labor. The book begins with approximately 40 pages of accounts, then the next 50 pages are blank, and the remaing section of the book contains more accounts.

Account book, 1831-1837 and 1844 of the brothers, John Swartz, Jr., Christian Swartz and Jacob Swartz of Shenandoah, Virginia. Most of the entries are accounts with customers for making or mending shoes, but it has other entries like wages for 'trashing wheat' and 'hauling wood' interspersed throughout the volume. Only one of the entries is for 1844.

This collection includes correspondence from Dew as well as an account book.

Account book, 1819-1821, kept by Townshend Stith of Virginia while United States Consul in Tunis, Tunisia. The book contains 21 pages of Stith's accounts on his way from the United States to Tunis in 1819, his expenses on the trip, and his expenses and income while on duty in Tunis. Also included in the book are entries of Stith's contacts with United States naval officers, including Captian Perry of the USS Spark. The rest of the volume has 14 pages of signatures of Lewellan D. Cypher of Company D., 3rd New York Calvary in 1865. The remaining pages of the book are blank.
