Account book, 1831-1840, of the estate of James Harrell of Chesterfield County, South Carolina. Harrell died in 1823, and the administrator of his estate is James Sinclair. The account book has separate pages for each of Harrell's minor children: Elizabeth T. Harrell, Joseph L. Harrell, and Sarah Ann P. Harrell.

Account book, 1831-1837 and 1844 of the brothers, John Swartz, Jr., Christian Swartz and Jacob Swartz of Shenandoah, Virginia. Most of the entries are accounts with customers for making or mending shoes, but it has other entries like wages for 'trashing wheat' and 'hauling wood' interspersed throughout the volume. Only one of the entries is for 1844.
