Class of 1947 Homecoming Button (UA 1992.001.3) Artifacts Box 501

One aluminum button 2.25in. in diameter given by the Alumni Society to members of the Class of 1947 for Homecoming. Set against a gold background and a green border is written "The College of W M" in green, "47" in white, and Homecoming in green with a white border stretched across the bottom of the button.

One round metal button pin with a green background. 'CLASS OF / '51 / WILLIAM MARY' in white text. Reverse has a metal safety pin clasp.The button is 2.25in. in diameter. The button is in good condition with slight yellowing/browning of the overall color and minimal scratching on the button front. Reverse has overall loss of shiny metallic coating and minor rust spots. Transferred from Alumni Association.

Class of '51 Pin (UA 2011.559) Artifact UA 2011.559

One round metal button pin with green background .'CLASS OF / '51 / WILLIAM MARY' in white text. Reverse metal strips for securing a safety pin closure, but is missing the pin. Button is 2.25in. in diameter. Pin is in good condition with bright colors and minimal scratching on the button front. Reverse has minor spots of discoloration. Transferred from Alumni Association.
