Katherine Diamond is the Partner in Charge of Design at Siegel Diamond Architects of Los Angeles, California, and the first woman to serve as President of the American Institute of Architects, Los Angeles Chapter. She was also President of the Association for Women in Architecture from 1989 to 1991. The collection contains correspondence, a curriculum vitae, and material related to the exhibits "That Exceptional One" (AIA) and "Women in American Architecture, 1888-1989: A Historic, Contemporary, and Southern California Perspective" (AIA-AWA), as well as articles and books featuring women in architecture.
