Abstract Or Scope
A collection of United States, Confederate States, Continental, and Colonial currency. Also includes the state currencies of Alabama, Georgia, Delaware, and Virginia; the currency of Augusta County, and the city of Portsmouth, Va.; bank notes from Washington, D.C.; Clarksburg, Weston, and Charleston, W. Va.; Augusta, Norfolk, and Richmond, Va.; Baltimore, Maryland; Charleston, S.C.; and Connecticut, Ohio, and PA. Some of the notes are counterfeit, or forgeries. Also includes one large copper one cent piece 1841 U.S. Currency bearing the inscription "Millions For Defense, Not One Cent for Tribute".
