Records of the League of Women Voters of the Williamsburg Area (LWVWA). Includes minutes, agendas, correspondence, publications, reports, photographs, memorandums, newsletters, president's files, video recordings and newspaper clippings. Topics covered include among others arms control, national security issues and domestic legislation, information relating to lobbying, etc.

This collection contains 26 letters and one pamphlet received by Margaret L. Templeton in 1931. The letters range from business correspondence to personal correspondence and the pamphlet documents updates to the National Federation of Business and Professional Women's Clubs of which Templeton was a member.

These papers are primarily related to Marguerite I. Tise's time working as the stenographer with the Economic Survey Mission to the Philippines from July 10 through September 6, 1950. Tise's offical letter of assignment to the mission is included along with two detailed Survey member lists, the 107 page "Report to the President of the United States" the group compiled, and a three page letter Tise wrote home to her family while serving.

The papers of American writer Molly Elliot Seawell include personal diaries, correspondence, memoirs, photographs, news clippings, and other materials. Also included are photocopies of Seawell's business papers housed at the New York Public Library and at the Columbia University Library. The collection also contains other records from the Seawell family, mostly relating to Molly's aunt Maria Seawell Edwards, John T. Seawell and wife Isabella Josephine Brady, and Philip Hairston Seawell. The collection comprises four series: Diaries, 1900-1914; Personal Records, 1901-1916; Professional Records, 1889-1915; and Seawell Family Records, 1859-2001.

Diary of Nanny C. Waller, Williamsburg, Virginia, which includes religious writings, discussion of a cholera epidemic, and her family. It also contains copies of letters and accounts.

A forty-seven page diary of a Virginia woman named Pattie Fitzgerald. Alongside school, courting, friends and family, Fitzgerald writes about darker things. She mentions feelings of hopelessness, a murder, and nightmares. Death is the focus of several entries.

The collection contains 34 typed manuscripts for short stories, reviews, speeches, letters, and plays by Pearl Buck. The collection also contains letters and one other document signed by Buck. The collection also contains a photocopy of an interview with Buck dating from 1964.
