Three pocket diaries written in 1869-1870 and 1874 by the wife of a merchant. The first diary, from 1869, focuses on the writer's daily life in Massachusetts. She writes about her activities such as music lessons, visits from friends, commemorating the anniversary of the Emancipation Proclamation, attending lectures at the Ladies' Physiological Institute, going to the Anti-Slavery Convention at the Horticultural Hall, and seeing photograph exhibits. She also mentions writing letters to Erastus, who has gone to San Francisco.

Diary, 1862, of M.L. Higgins of Connecticut. She was born on 11 March 1813 and her occupation seems to include teaching women how to make bouquets and wreathes out of hair. Entries relate to her daily activities, which primarily concern her daughter Alice and Alice's husband Frederick. Also includes stories about injured and dead soldiers coming back from the Civil War.

Car trip diary, 1927-1934 and travel blanket of an unidentified woman. The diary records her trips in her Erskine Studebaker and later a new 1934 Ford. Includes are dates, miles, times and who accompanied her, as well as brief remarks. The following description was provided by the seller: "She writes of attending the 1927 Cleveland Industrial Exhibition and seeing the exhibit titled "The Tower Of Jewels" she attended ball games, boat races again, dances, camping, picnics, Rogersville Centennial, Canton Fair, she rode in an airplane, was hit by a car, hit a wall, ... she sold the Erskine for $65 and bought a brand new Ford $669 in 1934. " The blanket is a Stroock and measures 55"x58."

Detailed diary, kept by Mrs. C.H. Morgan of Bristol, Tennessee, and Sirocco, Kentucky, 1904-1914, detailing daily life, church activities, school commencement, a trip to the St. Louis Fair, and the death of one of her children in 1909. Paper is very brittle and there are many loose pages.

Diaries and photographs, 1937-1949, of Muriel McCormick. McCormick was a staff member at the United States embassy in Paris, France, from 1945-1946, and much of the collection chronicles her travels through Europe.

This collection contains the diary of Myrtle M. Weaver Alwine of Greeley, Colorado and Ontario, California. As the diary begins, Myrtle Weaver works at the home of Emmie William Henry Lindley, 539 West A Street, Ontario, California. William Lindley was successful in a variety of businesses, including land development, orange groves and insurance. Miss Weaver has moved to California from Greeley, Colorado about six months prior to the start of her diary in September, 1914. The diary describes the daily work she does for the Lindley family as well as her social life. In the summer of 1915, Myrtle Weaver married Alvin Alwine and moved back to Greeley, Colorado.
