Papers, 1905-1936, of Anna Lou Jose on her trips through Europe. Includes details about the sea journey to Europe as well as details of her daily activities and places visited. Also includes information about the first three days of the 1936 Summer Olympics, held in Berlin. There is also ephemera that was tucked into one of Jose's diaries from her travels. Also includes an expense book from 1905 to 1906 as well as an undated address book. Finally, there is a diary of an unknown person, dated 1964.

Contains one typed transcript of a diary as well as a scrapbook of photographs entitled "The Coffey Pot" by Ann Coffey for her daughter Ann Elaine Coffey. The diary gives an account of the daily life of Ann and Ann Elaine, from large events like Ann Elaine's birth, her first day of school, her adventures at camp, moving to different towns, and a family trip to Niagara Falls, to everyday occurrences including being bitten by the neighbor's scottie dog and getting a perm for her hair. The diary ends in 1940 on Ann Elaine's sixteenth birthday.

Papers, 1887-1976, of the Ball family, chiefly Hugh Ball and Mary Pierce Ball who operated a dairy farm in Vergennes, Vermont. Dairy farming account books and receipts are included in the collection. Mary Ball (née Mary Lucy Pierce) grew up in Shelbourne, Vermont and her eleven diaries, written between the ages of eighteen and thirty-two, detail the weather, social engagements, sewing projects, books read, school, and in the last diary, baby care.

Diaries, 1934-1939, of Barbara Booth of Rochester, New York. The first volume is an autograph and photograph album, with photographs of friends, and notes written to Booth. In the volume Booth states that she goes to Monroe High School. The second volume is a diary, 1935-1939, in which she records her daily life, activities she does with her friends, dances and other social events that she attends, and other activities. In the later entries she mentions her marriage to a man named Bud and the birth of their first child. In both volumes, there are portions that are written in Gregg shorthand.

Three five-year diaries of Bertha E. Allison, of Good Hope, Illinois for the years 1927-1931 and 1943-1943. The following information was provided by the seller: "Almost all days have entries except when the writer's mother had a stroke in April, 1935. There were practically no entries from then until September of that year. All the diaries have deaths listed on the back pages and the latest lists books Bertha read in 1940-41 on a front page. She gives an account of the weather, chores, trips, social get-togethers, funerals and makes mention here and there of current events, like the United States entering WWII, a dust storm in Oklahoma, local fatal factory explosion." Diaries, 1894-1950, of Bertha Ellithorpe Greaves of West Stafford, Connecticut. The first volume is an autograph book, circa 1890s, from when Greaves was in high school, and contains the autographs and addresses of schoolmates, friends, and neighbors. There is also a hospital diary, 1942, from Greaves' stay in Johnson Memorial Hospital in Stafford Springs, Connecticut. Includes the name of her doctor, her nurses, and a list of visitors. Finally, there are diaries, 1936-1950, which include daily entries written by Greaves.

Papers, 1920s-1941, of Coral Patridge of New York, New York. Includes a travel diary of a trip she took by train from New York to New Mexico in the 1920s. Also includes 29 photographic prints, 9 of which feature New York City; some of the photographs also have descriptive information on the back. There is also an address book, a postcard sent from Germany, and a card with the history of the name "Patridge."

Diary, 1884, 1979-1981, of a unidentified woman, who made daily entries of everyday occurrences, like weather, temperatures, visits to town, meeting with friends and business people, doctors' visits, shopping trips. There are a few miscellaneous notes and expenses and addresses listed in the back.

Diary, 1933-1937 of an unidentified woman who lived with her husband and two sons outside Binghampton, New York. Brief daily entries described chores, social visits, family events, etc. The back of the diary was used to record births and deaths from circa 1930s-1946.

Diary, 1931-1936 of an unidentified young woman, titled "A Book of Personal Reflections of an Impersonal Brat." Geneve (her name is noted in the inside front cover, but her last name is not legible) was a student and 21 years old when she started the diary in 1931. She also notes that she graduated from Bradford Academy , MA '29, Lake Erie College, OH, '33 and Katharine Gibbs School, MA '34. Most entries are reflections on the meaning of life and love and her own emotional state and some are copied citations of well known writers. Also includes what looks like attempts of her own writings and she does say at some point that she would like to be a writer. Geneve wrote in irregular intervals, and though the entries span 6 years, they only take up about 20 pages.
