Abbye A. Gorin is an architectural researcher and writer of Metairie, Louisiana. Her collection contains a six-minute film entitled "The Rivergate, 1968-1995," produced by Barbara Coleman and written by Gorin and Betty Moss. The film was created as a tribute to the building and as a protest to its demolition. Also present are a 42-page "Catalog of Work," various magazines with articles about or written by Gorin, an audiocassette interview with the sculptor Angela Gregory, and a DVD containing 19 reissued interviews with Abraham Guillen and Samuel Wilson, Jr.

Anne Griswold Tyng was born in 1920 in Lushan, Jiangxi province, China where her parents were living as missionaries, Tyng was an architect, professor, and design theorist best known for her collaborations with Louis I. Kahn. She studied at Radcliffe-Harvard (1942), received her Masters at Harvard Graduate School of Design (1944), and PhD in Architecture from University of Pennsylvania (1975). She specialized in space frame architecture and mathematics. Tyng designed and built the first totally triangulated space-frame house for hollowed out living space. The collection consists of publications, exhibit materials, and biographical material.

Included are members of the Bell, Kent, Cloyd, and Withrow families, as well as, materials from related families and acquaintances. This is a diverse collection containing materials dating from 1780 to 1998. Items of interest include several Land Deeds and Warrant from the late 18th Century, including one signed by Benjamin Harrison, then Governor of Virginia; American Civil War correspondence from Confederate POW, Edgar Withrow; Regimental listings from the 19th Brigade of the Virginia Militia; and correspondence and military documents dating from World War II. The main collection contains materials from Gen. Gordon Cloyd, James Randal Kent, David Fenton Kent, Gordon Cloyd Bell Sr., David Kent Bell, James and Edgar Withrow, and many others.

The collection documents the application of computers to architectural design and land analysis, the development of CARLA (Computerized Approach to Residential Land Analysis) in the 1970s, the history of twentieth-century urban planning, particularly in San Francisco; and the contribution of women to twentieth-century American architecture. Willis, a noted artist, photographer, teacher, and writer, employed the full range of visual arts and design skills to influence and guide architectural projects of major significance.
